The 100 rooms at the Nathan Hale Inn and Conference Center are equipped with an assortment of features for guests' comfort and convenience - Husky Vision cable, AM/FM clock radios, coffee makers, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards, a work station, and two-line telephones with dataport capabilities, voice mail and auto wakeup. Local telephone calls and a morning newspaper are complimentary.
Additional amenities include room service, housekeeping, high-speed Internet access on two floors and microwaves and refrigerators in our mini suites. Visitors may choose rooms with one king-size bed, two queens, mini-suites.
The Nathan Hale Inn and Conference Center, named for Connecticut's Revolutionary War hero, offers its top-notch accommodations, meeting facilities and services on a hill overlooking UConn's south campus, which opened in 1998. Check e-mail, make copies or send faxes from the Inn's business center. Exercise while watching TV in the fitness center, or enjoy the indoor heated pool and spa. The Blue Oak Café offers mid-priced American cuisine and the intimate Abigail's Lounge is a great spot to relax with colleagues and friends.
With six meeting facilities to choose from, a full range of audiovisual and teleconferencing capabilities and an onsite business center with fax machine, copier and Internet access, the Nathan Hale Inn and Conference Center is equipped to handle any business or educational event. The Inn staff books events at five of its own meeting spaces and at the university's Rome Ballroom, which lies across the parking lot from the Inn and can accommodate 750 people. The ballroom divides into thirds for smaller groups, with the middle section set aside for university-catered dining. For gatherings within the Inn, guests dine at the Blue Oak Café on site.
